Loch Melfort Hotel has a variety of bedrooms to choose from.

In the Sea View Lodge, there are ten rooms on the ground floor, nine of which are dog friendly, all of which have double patio doors with views to the sea and a deck. On the first floor there are ten further bedrooms all of which have balconies.

Upgrades can be made to the Main House where two luxury suites are situated.

The Restaurant at Loch Melfort Hotel is a high quality dining experience with a gorgeous view of the coast.

The restaurant priorities local produce like freshly caught seafood, local meats and game when in season. A selection of Bistro favourites are also available with both menus served together.

Guests with dietary requirements have a choice of special menus to accommodate all needs.
On a sunny day guests can enjoy their food al fresco on the large sea view deck, and in colder weather they can keep warm by the open fire inside.

Child guests can be entertained by the children’s playground outside and Highland cows and goats down the lawn.

Local musicians play live in the bistro every first and third Friday of the month.

There’s an abundance of incredible scenery and wildlife around Loch Melfort to enjoy.
The Argyll coast is a treasure trove of wildlife, flora, historical and archeological sites, mountains, lochs, coastline, islands and valleys.

The area has also walking, pony trekking, mountain biking, sailing and fishing opportunities.
Those who like a dram can take advantage of how Argyll is known as the “whisky coast,” with 14 distilleries dotted along the coastline.

Not something the hotel could do anything about but a guest placed next to us at the evening meal had a body aroma problem the like I have never in 70 years smelt. It meant we passed on the coffee part of the meal just to exit ASAP.
