Enterkine House Hotel is a luxury country house hotel in the heart of Ayrshire, minutes from Prestwick Airport and 40 minutes from Glasgow.

Accommodation options

There are range of accommodation options available at Enterkine House Hotel.

The main house offers six traditionally furnished luxury bedrooms boasting high ceilings and large windows with stunning views over the estate.

All rooms in the main house have spacious en suite bathrooms, tea and coffee, a hairdryer, audio player and television.

The hotel’s Kirk House is a large detached cottage in the grounds of the estate, a two minute walk from the main house.

It has six cottage style bedrooms and a studio, all with en suite facilities. The cottage also has its own private garden. All meals are taken in Enterkine House.

Enterkine House Hotel’s Woodland Lodge is a romantic hideaway for two situated discreetly within the estate just a stone’s throw from the main house.

The lodge combines a rural ambience with luxurious decor of drapes, soft furnishings, a large double bed, underfloor heating, a en suite shower room, relaxation area with seating and a plasma tv/dvd player. Light snacks and refreshments, room service and breakfast can be served to the lodge. Dinner is served in the main house restaurant.

Dining

The restaurant at Enterkine House Hotel has panoramic views of the 300 acre woodland estate. The dishes are created using the best of local Ayrshire produce.

The menus change regularly, according to seasonal availability. Typical dishes might include breast of guinea fowl with aromatic red cabbage, salsify and morels; fillet of red mullet with baby fennel, asparagus and wild mushrooms, and iced honey parfait served with granola crumble, toffee sauce and golden raisins.

There is also a private dining room which accommodates parties of up to 14 people and has its own butler service and exclusive use of the adjacent library in which to take pre and post dinner drinks

Guests can also indulge in the country house experience of afternoon tea, tucking into a selection of mixed finger sandwiches, fruit and plain mini scones, jam and cream, a selection of cakes, and copious amounts of tea and coffee.
