Restoration for the future

Note: the hotel is 133 years old in 2023 and as part of their continuous investment in the hotel, they are starting a programme of restoration on the facade of the hotel. Working with Highland Building & Conservation team, who are specialist local craftsman, they will be restoring the sandstone to its original beauty in three phases – during this time scaffolding will be in place. As you can appreciate, it will take time, care and patience to complete this restoration so that the hotel can last long into the future. The hotel thank you for your understanding and patience during this restoration period.
