Description

Loch Leven Hotel is an award-winning, quirky little haven in the heart of the Highlands that has its very own gin distillery (as well as the other listed items).

Unique and scenic hotel

Nestled at the foot of mighty Glencoe, this historic ferry inn in Onich dates back to the time of Bonnie Prince Charlie and looks out over the point where Loch Leven meets Loch Linnhe.

It’s a family-run hotel with plenty to offer, including dramatic views over the gardens, lochs and mountains; a loch view restaurant, renowned bar, sun deck and even a literature lounge.

As mentioned, Loch Leven Hotel has now opened a craft gin distillery in the grounds, creating its own brand of Highland spiced gin, Devil’s Staircase.

Individually decorated rooms

Each of the hotel’s twelve en-suite guest rooms is decorated in a contemporary Scottish style with splashes of tartan and thistle motifs.

Features include a flat screen TV, free WiFi, complimentary toiletries, fluffy towels, tea & coffee making facilities, phone and hairdryer. As an added perk, every room includes a book by Scottish author Alexander McCall Smith.
