Hotel information

  • Charming historic hotel
  • Ideal for exploring Perthshire
  • Close to the spectacular Falls of Dochart
  • Recently refurbished

Recently refurbished, Ardeonaig is under a two hour drive from Glasgow or Edinburgh yet feels a million miles away from the pressures of modern life.

Offering peace, tranquillity and luxury, it sits in ten acres of garden with commanding views straight over Loch Tay to the spectacular, snow-capped Lawers mountain range.

Ardeonaig has been welcoming guests since the 16th century, when it gave shelter to drovers moving their flocks to market.

While travellers have rested at Ardeonaig since 1640, and the oldest parts of the main building date from that time, it combines this historical character with cosy, contemporary comforts.

Guests at the hotel can relax by strolling the ten acre garden and enjoying the orchard and vinyard, finding some peace in the library with its panoramic view, or kicking back in the lounge with its cosy log fire.
