Hotel information

Boreland Loch Tay is an award-winning self-catering resort set in 120 acres of Trossachs scenery. Guests can enjoy spectacular loch views while surrounded by castles, Munros and golf courses. Both Glasgow and Edinburgh are less than a two-hour drive away.

What makes this Perthshire resort so special is that it offers a blend of luxury facilities and exhilarating activities. With a ‘motto of good times made easy’, you can choose the kind of rustic escape that you want, whether that’s total relaxation or adrenaline-pumping thrills.

So whether you like lochside walks, adventure sports or sipping fizz in a hot tub, there is something for everyone.

Heavenly Highland setting

All of the super comfy lodges have ultrafast WiFi, Sky TV with Sports and Movies, BBQs, fire pits and plenty of other home comforts.

Each lodge has its own unique character, with some sleeping up to eight and others up to 23. Some have added luxuries like a hot tub, cosy wood burning stove and surround sound cinema system.

Outdoor activities galore

At Boreland you can add on an activity for a supplement, including stepping into the boots of a Scottish warrior with a Highland game such as caber tossing.

You can also take part in an Airsoft ‘shoot-em-up’ adventure through the forest, as well as a Highland safari Land Rover ride, Zorb football, canyoning, quad biking, kayaking, speed boating and white water rafting.

Experience the best of Perthshire

Boreland is close to the pretty market town of Aberfeldy and you will find great local attractions nearby. Step into Iron Age history at the Scottish Crannog Centre, sip on a single malt at Aberfeldy Distillery, or bag a Munro by hiking up Ben Lawers.

It is also well worth visiting the Falls of Dochart, where you can grab a pint at the local inn then sip it while sitting on rocks and watching the rushing water.
