Inn on Loch Lomond

Inverbeg, Inverbeg

Hotel information

Since 1814, The Inn on Loch Lomond has been welcoming travellers in for a dram of whisky, a hearty meal and a warm bed. Although the inn still boasts original period features, it is now a comfortable, up-to-date Highland escape. The pretty village of Luss is nearby, and facilities include a restaurant, bar and roaring fireplace. Think traditional Scottish hospitality reinvented for the 21st century and you’ll understand what this local landmark has to offer.

Tasteful and comfortable rooms

Many of the rooms at The Inn on Loch Lomond offer views of the water. All are tastefully decorated in rustic, local colours inspired by the landscapes of the loch. Each room has an ensuite bathroom, wall-mounted flat screen TV, hairdryer, telephone and hot drink making facilities.

Relaxed Scottish dining

The Inn bar and restaurant is a relaxed dining spot celebrating two of Scotland’s most famous exports. All fish is prepared daily and caught locally, where possible. Grill meats, real ales and a wide range of wines are also available.

Menus can change but expect house specials such as haddock, cod or scampi with hand-cut chips; the Inn Steak Pie with Aberdeen Angus Beef; cauliflower and leek macaroni cheese; curry of the day, and steaks, ribs and burgers from the grill.

See & do

Whether you love golf, castles, dining, wildlife or outdoor activities, there is no shortage of things to do at Loch Lomond. You could take a hike around the National Park, a boat trip to Inchmurrin Island or a tour of Glengoyne whisky distillery. You could also try out angling, water-skiing, canoeing, horse riding and cycling. Other highlights include the Sea Life centre and Loch Lomond Shores for shopping.
