Livingston Lodge

Livingston Lodge is close to the centre of Livingston in West Lothian, just a four minute drive from the train station. Edinburgh is thirteen miles away and there are also five golf courses within easy reach.

The Livingston has twenty ensuite rooms and its choice of two restaurants means that you won’t be stuck for evening dining options. Other facilities include a lounge bar, free wifi and generous on-site parking.

Choice of two restaurants

Livingston Lodge offers two totally different dining spaces at Phoenix Restaurant, which serves oriental fusion cuisine, and the local award-winning Oscars Bar and Grill.

Signature dishes at Phoenix include the Szechuan chef’s speciality, the seafood combination, the kung po fillet beef, the aromatic crispy duck and the garlic and chilli sauce chicken. Thai dishes such chicken green curry and king prawn pattaya are also served, plus European options.

Or you could try Oscars Bar and Grill, a cheerful and friendly family restaurant that includes a children’s play area. Here you can enjoy creative pub fare, plus handpicked wines and beers from around the world.

Although menus can change, expect mains such as the medallions of beef fillet with rosti potatoes, the baked salmon in dahl sauce with coconut rice, and the Highlander chicken with haggis, bacon and whisky sauce. Vegetarians can enjoy options like the sizzling fajitas, penne pasta and macaroni cheese. There is also a special children’s menu available.

Out and about

Livingston Lodge is close to five great golf courses, giving you plenty of opportunity to improve your swing. These include Deerpark Golf and Country Club, Pumpherston Golf Club and Uphall Golf Club.
