  We dined here at 5pm on a Sunday and it was relatively quiet. The menu already had me sold. I choose delicious chicken liver pate and it came with so much toast. Not the norma in most placesl, you usually have to ask for more. I opted for the lamb as my choice of roast and it was cooked beautifully. I have to say the service was slow and lacked personality. I feel terrible to say but perhaps it was just an off day. She did make more chat towards the end but I think more training and she could be up to scratch. We had to like linger next to our coats before she came over and noticed we were waiting for them. Overall amazing venue and food just needs to be brought up to the standard I was expecting.
