Mezze is a Mediterranean rooftop restaurant on the top floor of the iconic Rotunda complex. Enjoying spectacular views of the River Clyde and Glasgow, the split level venue has an intimate dining area with luxurious booths and rustic tables. There is a laidback bar area under the Rotunda rooftop where olive trees provide a dreamy oasis for cocktails or a quiet glass of wine. Open all day from noon to late, Mezze is all about relaxed casual dining.
As the name indicates, small plates of food designed for sharing are an important feature of Mezze. Sharing is a culinary tradition in the Mediterranean, and the Mezze menu reflects this with dazzling seafood dishes, daily market fresh specials, succulent grilled meats and cooked to order kebabs.
As well as mezze plates, there are larger dishes on offer. Whole chargrilled sea bream, slow-cooked kleftiko and seafood saganaki stews are perfect for bringing friends and family together. What unifies all the dishes is that the ingredients are sourced from independent, local suppliers.
Mezze is in the Rotunda on Tunnel Street. About a two minute walk from the SEC and SEE Hydro, it is ideally located for a pre-show meal. Several nearby bus stops run services to and from the city centre and the Exhibition Centre train station is a brisk five minute walk. There is free on-site parking for customers at the Rotunda.
