Metropolitan Cocktail Bar & Restaurant Review

  • Rating A gem in the heart of the Merchant City (Rating 5.0/5)
    I have been eating at the Metropolitan for many years now and it never fails to impress me. The £29.95 couple deal is, in my opinion, the best deal in Glasgow city centre. The food is top class, always well cooked with a good choice (usually fish, chicken, meat or veg). The wine included in the deal is equal to a bottle I'd usually expect to pay £16ish for. Little extras like the freshly baked (still warm) bread rolls served before the meal are a nice touch. On this trip I had the roast chicken & risotto which I absolutely loved and a pina colada cheese cake (which I'm still thinking about now it was THAT good). I would recommend this place to anyone. Great location and atmosphere. 5/5
