  We usually go to Di Maggio's whenever we are in Shawlands and its always enjoyable which is why we chose to go there to celebrate New Year. However we were extremely disappointed by the quality of the food and the lack of attention during our service. The nachos were soggy and burnt on top, the main courses were quite bland and not as much taste as we usually experience - the two Philadelphia steaks were fine but my Pappardelle Alla Romana had beef that was very tough and the sauce was lacking in its normal flavour. Similarly the Paperdelle Rustica did not have the usual taste and was also served cold. I will return to Di Maggio's however its disappointing that on a busy occasion they cannot keep to their usual standards.
